TUDOR has launched its latest Black Bay,the newest technical and aesthetic evolution of its iconic diving watch with a burgundy bezel. The watch features a T-fit clasp and is Master Chronometer-certified by METAS. In addition to the iconic burgundy bezel, the new Black Bay has the hallmark snowflake hands, and a manufacture calibre MT5602-U certified by the Swiss Official Chronometer Testing Institute (COSC),offering a glimpse into the future of the line. The Black Bay boasts a silicon hairspring,a 70-hour power reserve, and an openworked tungsten monobloc rotor.
The Black Bay maintains its iconic status with a 41mm diameter case, but made slimmer,a prehensible bezel, and subtly curved numerals. The seconds hand has a lollipop design, and the black dial is radially brushed. The crown is set flush to the middle case band and redesigned with curves reminiscent of the brand's historical technical watches. The Black Bay comes with a satin-brushed steel bracelet or a five-oval-shaped-link option, with a TUDOR T-fit clasp. A black rubber strap is also available.
The Black Bay line of TUDOR watches blends traditional and modern aesthetics, drawing inspiration from the brand's dive watches from the 1950s and 1960s while meeting contemporary standards of manufacturing, reliability, robustness, and finish.
