As the first point of contact, you'll play a key role in ensuring every client receives an outstanding experience from the moment they arrive. Your attention to detail, confident communication style, and proactive approach will help support the smooth running of our showroom and enhance our clients' journey.
About the role
Our Front of House must create an unrivalled, personalised shopping experience, making all our customers feel valued, maintaining the boutique's high standards at all times while managing the team. This is an integral role – you are the first impression to the outside world. You will manage, nurture, and evolve our existing client base and help establish new clients. You will ensure an exceptional experience from the welcome to the point where the customer leaves.
Building long-lasting relationships with our clients is integral to our success. You will put them first, build trust, and look for every opportunity to showcase the very best of our brand.
Positively interacting with customers by answering queries in person, over the phone or via email to maximise sales and showcase the very best of Baker Brothers at all times.
Handle phone calls with professionalism, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette.
Being a client relationship expert, role modelling excellence to the sales team with your unrivalled premium and luxury service knowledge, leadership & service skills.
Making each client feel special and welcome by ensuring a strong client focus and a desire to always go the extra mile to continually deliver exceptional client experiences.
Being responsible for all administrative tasks related to the Welcome desk.
Key Responsibilities
Greet and welcome clients with warmth and professionalism, ensuring a seamless and personable experience
Manage appointment arrivals and offer refreshments where appropriate
Handle post-visit follow-ups and assist with client correspondence
Support the sales and admin team with general administrative tasks, from data entry to maintaining accurate records and ensuring security measures are complied with.
Keep the front-of-house and consultation areas clean, tidy, and presentation-ready at all times
Monitor and maintain stock levels of packaging, refreshments, stationery, and other administrative supplies
Assist with stock takes of front-of-house and office materials
Coordinate couriers and deliveries where required
About the candidate
Immaculately presented with strong communication and interpersonal skills, an excellent command of the English language is essential
Adept communicator with an excellent telephone manner, able to adapt your style and service to suit the client.
Great attention to detail
Comfortable multitasking in a dynamic environment, with the ability to work in an interruption-driven job, whilst having the ability to remain calm and focused
Efficient, organised, and able to plan whilst having the flexibility to be able to respond to last-minute requests
A strong team player, but also someone who demonstrates initiative and can work on their own
Confident using Microsoft Office, CRMs and online booking software, and be able to quickly learn in-house systems
Previous experience in a luxury retail or hospitality environment is preferred but not essential
